We are offering several open positions within the PhD Program on “Quantum Technologies” to highly motivated and well-qualified students.

The deadline for applications is May 27, 2021, at 12 p.m. (CET). The call for applications can be found on the web page http://www.unina.it/didattica/post-laurea/dottorati-di-ricerca/english-version. (Italian version: http://www.unina.it/didattica/post-laurea/dottorati-di-ricerca/bandi-di-ammissione)

The PhD Program on “Quantum Technologies” aims at promoting novel expertise based on interdisciplinary topics needed for the development of quantum devices and technologies.

As part of this PhD program, the University of Napoli Federico II (Italy), the National Council of Research of Italy (CNR) and the University of Camerino (Italy) organise a series of Lectures and Courses covering different quantum platforms, quantum networks and communication, quantum simulation, quantum sensors and metrology with some focus on quantum interfaces and couplers for integrated hybrid quantum devices.

The successful candidates will work in a team of theoretical/experimental physicists on one of the different disciplines of the PhD Program.

PhD candidates should have a master’s degree in physics, engineering, or other related area and have a good understanding of physics and quantum theory.

The program also includes Summer Schools. More information can be found at the webpages http://www.phd-qt.unina.it and  http://www.fisica.unina.it/presentazione-dottorato-qt
